The Maryland Sportsmen’s PAC has provided the following candidates with financial campaign contributions. The PAC believes these candidates are willing to publicly acknowledge our heritage and support efforts to preserve, protect and promote hunting, fishing and trapping, and thus deserve our support in return.
PAC members have also attended
other events with other candidates but does not have sufficient contributions
to help all of those Legislators that support our hunting heritage.
About the Maryland Sportsmen's PAC:
Dear Fellow Sportsmen:
Over the course of the last several years, your freedom to hunt, fish, and trap has come under attack here in the "Free State" of Maryland. Sportsmen have seen legislation introduced to prohibit trapping, increase taxes on ammunition, and usurp the rights of private landowners to hunt on their own property. Animal rights organizations such as the HSUS and Fund for Animals have made Maryland a battleground to further their agenda that seeks to end hunting, trapping and fishing.
Due to the increasing politicization of wildlife and wildlife management, the Maryland Sportsmen’s Political Action Committee was founded. The Maryland Sportsmen’s PAC is a politically active organization dedicated to assisting legislators who agree that our hunting, fishing & trapping heritage is worth protecting.
Maryland Sportsmen’s PAC feels those legislators, regardless of political party affiliation, willing to publicly acknowledge our heritage and support efforts to preserve, protect and promote hunting, fishing and trapping deserve our support in return.
In order to ensure that pro-sportsmen candidates are elected and continue to protect our interests in Annapolis, the Maryland Sportsmen’s PAC is asking for your help.
Maryland Sportsmen’s PAC is a grassroots organization made up of volunteers. All monies raised by the Maryland Sportsmen’s PAC go directly to support candidates. I hope that you can contribute to help us protect our outdoor heritage.
